General Contractor
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships of the on-site staff and to promote a positive project morale.
To have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the General Contract, each Subcontract, the contract drawings, specifications and addenda, and to assist the Project Manager in the development of the on-site procedures.
To examine the contract drawings, specifications and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and to bring these to the attention of the Project Manager who will review them with the Architect.
To assist the Project Manager and the Scheduling Manager in the development and refinement of the Project Schedule, and to work with the Project Manager to keep the schedules properly updated, and to see that the job meets the various required dates.
To plan and review the Construction Program with the Project Manager including quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment and manpower.
To coordinate, direct, monitor, and with the Assistant Superintendent(s) and the technical coordinators, (project specific as required) inspect the activities of the Subcontractors, Suppliers and South Coast Improvement Company’s labor and material.
To verify that each Subcontractor has completed his contractual requirements as condition precedent to beginning his work at the jobsite. This includes a Certificate of Insurance, a fully executed Subcontract, a Schedule of Values and a Safety Program.
To assure that a sufficient supply of the proper South Coast Improvement Company report forms, signage, and other required incidentals are at hand.
To see that all required permits or licenses have been obtained, and all required safety notices are posted.
To cooperate with, and direct when necessary, the activities of the inspection agencies, and to effect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies.
To chair regular coordination meetings and safety meetings with the subcontractors and to issue typewritten minutes to the Project Manager as a result thereof.
To receive and review the Subcontractors Daily Reports of work done and labor and material employed.
To review and approve, on a weekly basis, all as-built prints.
To review and provide the company controller with the Subcontractor’s monthly requests for payment.
To participate, as required, in the timely preparation of monthly requisitions to the Owner and to see that they are promptly reviewed and approved by the Architect’s field representative.
To review and supply the company controller with all time and material work vouchers and invoices.
To maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project including the public.
Review all Slips to ensure shipments are completes.
Save slips for project manager.

SAFETY Responsibilities:
To insure that employees/subcontractor enforces their safety programs carrying out all safety meetings & all OSHA regulations.
SKILLS Required:
Employees should have experience running projects in South Florida proper with both union and non-union subcontractors, and maintaining harmony throughout the project.
Employees must be able to read blue prints, have an understanding of project cost analysis and effectively use the following computer programs within a reasonable amount of time:

30 hour OSHA training.

Project Manager / Superintendant 
• Required to work weekends when needed
• Experience in home building, specifically phases of Slab, Block, and Frame ability to read blueprints. 
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.

Construction Foreman/ Field Supervisor 
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that the project milestones and overall schedule completion date is met
Coordinate with Subcontractors to attend pre-construction, weekly-progress and other project meetings
Create and maintain a culture that values safety, respect, and cleanliness among all trades
Meet with Project Manager and client representatives to discuss the status of projects
Proactively identify and resolve problems while keeping the Project Manager up to date on the status of the work schedule
Identify issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
Review quality of construction daily, fill out daily reports, delivery schedule, and other documentation as required
Consistently confirm the specifications and dimensions of construction are per print and scope
Meet with city officials for inspections to make sure construction is compliant with requirements
Fill out and follow up with RFP in the field
Manage changes in project scope, relay details to PM who will create change order documents for client approval
Maintains communication with subcontractors, vendors and project team
Managing punch list and project closeout process to assure timely completion

AS degree in Construction Management or similar or a Journeyman status in a building trade (i.e. Carpenter) AND no less than 5 years of progressive responsibility supervising commercial construction
A demonstrated understanding of construction means-and-methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial
A working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical work (refrigeration knowledge a plus)

Lead Carpenter 
Responsible for the accurate, timely and safe construction of rough and finish carpentry work in residential home construction projects.

Reports To: Production Manager

Essential Responsibilities of our Lead Carpenters:
Understand architectural plans, specifications and construction schedules
Verify plans for accuracy; note discrepancies
Work with Interior Designers and Architects to help define details and review the plans for build-ability.
Perform rough and finish carpentry work with high attention to detail and quality
Maintain a safe, clean and profane-free jobsite
Knowledge and Skills of our Site Managers or Lead Carpenters:
Strong carpentry skills
Knowledgeable of residential building codes

Our Carpenters’ Helpers, Apprentices, Foremen, and Heavy Steel Installers perform skilled work involving rough and finished carpentry, steel rack assembly and anchoring for retail stores nationwide. Experience in blue-print reading, lay-out, framing, drywall, running base & crown, and other general carpentry work. Structural/Civil Engineer 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design of structures, including high end residential, commercial, industrial and government facilities
Coordination and/or preparation of construction plans and details for transportation structures.
QC review of design calculations and/or plans prepared by others.
Preparation and/or review of shop drawing submissions.
Site visits and field reviews.
Technical guidance and management of junior staff in their performance of the above activities.
Assistance in development of Project Pursuit documents, including Letters of Interest, Technical
Proposals, and Technical Presentations.
A Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited engineering program with a focus on structural engineering.
Florida Professional Engineer Registration (P.E.)- 8-12 years' experience in structural design.
Experience with AutoCAD Software is necessary and experience with REVIT is a plus.
Experience with Structural Modeling software for finite element analysis.

Construction Estimator 
Pre-Construction: Search and review projects for bid, create contracts with general contractors and Public Works. Estimate bids and create proposals. Follow up on proposals.
Post-Bid: Review project requirements, contracts, approved plans and specifications to ensure all changes are addressed and contracts are in order. Coordinate with clients both onsite and in office for all proper documentation, scheduling, scope of work, etc.
During Construction: Keep up to date with progress of work. Create change orders when necessary and discuss changes in work. Monitor cost on a regular basis with milestone checks on scope of work. Provide updated plans/designs to personnel in field and in the office. Applicant must be able to visit and walk construction sites in the region as needed.
Post-Construction: Review final project costs and create profitability reports.
Required Skills
A successful applicant must have a minimum of 5 years experience, including references in grading operation. Must have experience in site take off software Trimble Business Center, and large format printers. Need GPS experience in Trimble field site work. Strategic Planning

This job typically requires a bachelor's degree combined with 1-5 years of relevant sales or construction experience. This job might appeal to individuals with interests in construction, sales, and management.
